Qosim is a passionate legal researcher, an aspirant to the bar, and a technology enthusiast. A graduate in Common and Islamic Law from Bayero University Kano and an Associate Member of both the Institute of Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and the Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (ACIBF), Qosim has cultivated expertise in litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and Islamic finance, including Shari’ah-compliant financial systems (including Islamic capital markets), inheritance law, and endowment frameworks.
He has honed his practical skills through multiple internships at top-tier law firms and legal institutions, gaining experience in legal research, drafting, public interest litigation, corporate governance, and telecommunications law. His leadership within the university community and beyond includes serving as Attorney-General of Solace Chambers after serving in several positions of the Chambers; Director of Pre-Trial at the Bayero University Kano Law Clinic; and the Director of Research at the National ADR Society, among others, where he fosters mentorship, research, and professional development among aspiring lawyers.
In addition to his legal pursuits, Qosim is a web developer and digital strategist, creating responsive platforms that support legal publications, mentorship initiatives, and collaborative learning. His work reflects a commitment to bridging knowledge, technology, and law to advance legal scholarship and practice.
